LET US TAKE AC AS BASE.

Then Area of this triangle = 1/2 × BE × AC.........(1)

AND IF THE BASE IS AB,

Then Area of this triangle = 1/2 × CF × AB.........(2)

Clearly both eq. are equal.

So, 1/2 × BE × AC = 1/2 × CF × AB

=> BE × AC = CF × AB

But AB = AC

So, BE = CF.

HENCE PROVED.
