now according to question

 \frac{ - 7}{8} x =  \frac{5}{14}

x =  \frac{5 \times 8}{14 \times  - 7}

x =  \frac{ \:  \:  \: 20}{ - 49}

therefore other rational number be

  - \frac{20}{49}
