so,

BX = BL = 4cm eq 1

CY = CL = 6cm. eq 2

AX = AY = 3cm eq 3

BL + CL = BC. eq 4

Now , put the value of eq 1 & 2 in the eq 4

4 + 6 = 10

So, length of BC is 10 cm.
