Maths question:-


Question 1: In a school, 25/54 of the students are girls and the rest are boys. If the number of boys is 2030, find the number of girls.
Question 2: In an orchard, 1/5 are orange trees, 3/13 are mango trees and the rest are banana trees. If the banana trees are 148 in number, find the total number of trees in the orchard.​

Question.1 Answer

=> Fraction of boys = 29/54

let the total students be x

=> (29/54)x = 2030

=> x = 54 x 70

=> x = 3780

Girls = Total Students - Boys

=> Girls = 3780 - 2030

In an orchard, orange trees are = 1/5  

Mango trees are = 3/13.  

The rest tree are of banana.  

Banana trees are 148 in number,  

To find :  

The total number of trees in the orchard = ?  

Solution :  

Let the number of trees be ‘x’.
