Given,AC = 24 cm = perpendicular
=>>>>,BC = 10 cm = base
Pythagoras theorem,
=>(AB)^2 = (AC)^2 + (BC)^2
=>(AB)^2 = (24)^2 + (10)^2
=>(AB)^2 = 576 + 100
=>(AB)^2 = 676
=>(AB) =√676
=>(AB) = 26 cm

=>OA = OB = 26/2
=>OA = OB = 13 cm

=>AREA OF SHADED REGION
=>AREA OF SEMICIRCLE - AREA OF TRIANGLE ACB

=>πr^2 /2 - 1/2 x r^2 x sinø
=>1/2 x r^2 [π x 2 - sin90°]
=>1/2 x 13 x 13 [3.14 x 2 - 1]
=>169/2 [6.28 - 1]
=>169/2 [5.28]
=>169/2 x 5.28
=>169 x 2.64
=>446.16 cm^2

So,the area of shaded portion is 446.16 cm^2
