Hi,

Number of english books in the

Library = 780

Number of scince books = 364

We have to find HCF of 780 and 364

364 ) 780 ( 2
728
__________
52 ) 364 ( 7
364
_____________
0

Divisor in this stage is the HCF

of 780 and 364

Therefore,

The librrarian to store english and science

books in shelves such that each shelf

would have the same number

of each subject.

780 = 52 × 15

364 = 52 × 7

Each shelf contains 15 english and 7 science

books .

Number of such shelfs = 52

I hope this helps you.
