Initial selling price is 18000 and loss % is 20%.

so, selling price = 80% of C.p

=> C.P = sp/0.8 = 18000/0.8 = 22500. now actual cost price per show is. 22500/20 = 1125 rs.

again for selling price to be 16200.

and having profit of 20%.

the total cost price should be (100+20) % C.P = 16200 => CP 16200/1.2 =13500

so no. of shows = 13500/1125=12 pair of shoes.
