Using the number line, verify the following:
(a) The sum of two or more positive integers is a positive integer
(b) The sum of two or more negative integers is a negative integer
(c) The sum of positive and negative integers may be a positive or a negative integer,
(d) The sum of two opposite integers is zero
(e) The sum of an integer (positive or negative) and O is the integer itself.​

a) Yes. For Example: if we add the numbers like 1 + 2 we will get the answer 3. So by adding positive integer and a positive integer we get a positive integer.
b) Yes.For example if we add the numbers like -1 + -3, we will get the answer as -4.So adding a negative integer and a negative integer we get a negative integer.
c) Yes. For example if we add 5+ (-3) we will get the answer as 2 and one more example is 7+(-9) we will get the answer as -2. So adding a positive integer and. A negative integer we get the answer as a positive or negative integer.
d) Yes. For example : if we add 6+(-6) we will get the answer as 0. So adding the opposite integers we get the answer 0.
