Matilda suffered in her life because she was not satisfied with what life has given to her. She was a pretty lady born as though an error of destiny into the family on clerk. She was a beautiful lady and married with an honest man. He was rich in value but monetarily moderate. Matilda was not content with his salary and job. She wanted to live a luxurious life, which he could not afford. Once she got an opportunity to attend a High profile party but she didn't have any good dress or jewel. So she borrow a diamond necklace from his friend Mme. Forestier. She lost that necklace in the party and had to suffer a lot, just to repay for it. She had to ruin her long 10 years.
