Answer:

Matter is made up of small particles called Solid, liquids and gases.

 \large \bf{matter}

⍟Anything that has mass and occupies space and has resistance to the force applied on it is called matter.

⍟Their properties are density, colour, hardness, melting point, malleability and more.

⍟The there states of matter are:-

  • Solid-They are distinguished from liquids and had due to their property of rigidity, which means that they do not change their shape under the action of any small force. Thus solids have a definite shape and definite volume. Eg.wooden logs,stone,etc
  • Liquids-This state is characterised by their properties of fluidity, which means they can follow from higher to lower level. They have negligible compressibility and no definite shape. They take the shadow of a container. Eg. Water, alcohol, etc
  • Gas-They are characterised by having high fluidity, high compressibility, no definite volume or shape and can follow in all directions. Eg.Oxygen,Nitrogen,etc.

##besides the three states of matter, there are two more States of matter, they are called "plasma" and "Bose-Einstein condensate"
