Right triangle has three sides namely hypotenuse, perpendicular and base. Out of these, hypotenuse is the longest. Hence, choose 10.
According to Pythagorean’s theorem,
p^2 + b^2 = h^2
So, 6^2 + 8^2 gives 100 ie 10^2.
Note: p-perpendicular, b-base, h-hypotenuse.
