its not correct! If no. of pages read is 90 then how come 3/8 is fraction of book read?? 3/8 is fraction of book LEFT after 6 days. So, 3/8 is not equal to 90........

In 6 days Max read 15 × 6 = 90 pages
Fraction of book left to read after 6 days = 3/8
Fraction of book read in 6 days = 1 - (3/8) = (8 - 3)/8 = 5/8
Therefore, 5/8 of the total no. of pages = 90
Total no. of pages in the book = 90 ÷ 5/8 = (90 × 8)/5 = 720 ÷ 5 = 144 pages
