My answer will be going against the grain of all other provided answers. The fact that the question states the words minimum and maximum for velocity makes me think outside of the box. I will consider a sinusoidal function for velocity. This would be represented by the following: v = sin t. The acceleration function would be the DERIVATIVE of velocity and in this case, it is: v’ = a = cos t.
