Maya has a table cloth of length 2 m and braadth1 m. she wants to put a lace all around it. she bought 7 m of lace for this. Is the lace sufficient? will there be any lace left?

perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+w)

so 2(2+1)=6

therefore it is sufficient n 1m

lace is left.
