Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of the number of ₹100, ₹50 and ₹20 notes is 5:3:2

In 50rs ,we can written as 1/2,20rs as 1/5

5x+ (3x/2)+(2x/5) = 138000

50x + 15x + 4x = 1380000

69x = 1380000

x = 20000

amnt in 100rs note = 5x = 5*20000 = 100000

amnt in 50rs note = 3x/2 = (3* 20000)/2= 30000

amnt in 20 rs note = 2x/5 = (2* 20000)/5 = 8000

  • total number of 100rs note = 100000/100 = 1000notes

  • total number of 50 rs note = 30000/50= 600 notes

  • total number of 20 rs note = 8000/20 = 400
