Greenhouse is a glass house used in nurseries which captures sunlight into it and does not let it go out so that the plants receive enough sunlight and grow properly . Same think happens in the earth's atmosphere when greenhouse gases such as methane , carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide along with other gases function in the same way . They capture and does not let it go out which is harmful for earth and its living beings as tu much of heat can melt the glaciers and cause problems.
