I agree with the given statement- Mean is a measure of central tendency.

* All the known measures of central tendency estimate the central value of any given data set.

* Mean is also one of them because it takes all the values of a data set into account and gives us the average of them( and thus the central point).

* Any change in values will affect the mean value of a given data set.
