Mean of 100 numbers was found to be 50. But later on, it was observed that one of the number 150 was wrongly taken as 50. The correct mean is: 100

Answer:

X..../100=50

total sum= 100*50

sum=5000

new sum= 5000-50+150

=5100

new mean= sum/no. of numbers

5100/100= 51
