mean of 15 observation is 18. if 2 is subtracted from each observation and then each observation is divided by 4 . then new mean of data is?

When 2 is subtracted from each observation then new mean will also be 2 less than old mean.

Intermediate answer 18-2 = 16.

Now if each observation is divided by 4 then the new mean will also be old mean divided by 4.

Final answer (16/4) = 4
