Heya !!!
Let the 30 observations are X1,X2,X3,......X30.
Mean = Sum of observations/Number of observation
33 = X1+X2+X3+......+X30/30
X1+X2+X3+......X30 = 33 × 30
X1+X2+X3+......+X30 = 990
Each observation is multiply by 3. Then new observations are :
X1×3 , X2×3 , X3×3 ,...........X30×3
Mean = Sum of observations/Number of observation
New Mean = X1×3 + X2×3+X3×3+.......+X30×3/30
New Mean = 3 ( X1+X2+X3+X4.......+X30)/30
New Mean = 3 ( 990 ) /30
New mean = 3 × 33
New mean = 99
