$mean = \frac{9 + 13 + p + 11 + 18 + 19}{6}$

$mean = \frac{70 + p}{6}$

Given that the mean of variates is 'p'

$p = \frac{7 0 + p}{6}$

6p = 70 + p

6p - p = 70

5p = 70

$p = \frac{70}{5}$

p= 14

therefore , The value of p is 14
