Mean of eight observations is 25. If one observations 11 is excluded, find the mean of the remaining.

Answer:

Mean=25= total amount/8

Total amount=25×8=200

Now 11 is excluded

So total amount now=200-11=189 and number of observation=7

So new mean =189/7=27
