Natural numbers begin at 1 and increment to infinity: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. Therefore, the first ten natural numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. ... Hence, the mean of the first 10 natural numbers is 5.5.

Mean = \frac{a+b}{2} , \frac{a+b+c}{3} , etc

Mean of first 10 natural numbers are :

\frac{1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10}{10}

\frac{3+7++11+15+19}{10}

\frac{10 +26+19}{10}

\frac{36+19}{10}

\frac{55}{10}

⇒ 5.5

∴ The Mean of first 10 natural numbers is 5.5
