Mean of the 20 observation is 110 if each observation is divided by 2 what will be new mean

Answer:

mean of 20 observation=110

sum of all observation=110*20=2200

therefore if each observation is divided by 2, new total observation = 2200/2 =1100

now mean of this new total observation =new total observation/no. of observation= 1100/20 =55
