Meaning: Globalization in simple terms can be the process in which the occupants of the plant earth get more and more interlinked with each other. It is described as the process by which there is international integration as result exchange of  goods and services and interchange of  ideas, world views and mostly culture.
Pattern: The natural route that globalization has always taken involve a push from demand of goods and services internationally and the consequent creation of global markets. The push also comes from technological drivers that have made international trade a piece of cake.
Implications of Globalization:
1)social
Globalization has really changed how people interact, world over. With such new technologies as internet and mobile phones people can talk and exchange ideas thousands of kilometers apart.
2)Economical
Through trade, different societies have been able to enjoy goods and services that only parts of the world did enjoy before the immense improvement in the transport sector. It has also had the positive effect of increase in employment rates and rise in average wages.However, such changes have not been met without negative effects such as the gap between the rich and poor countries keep on widening due to this phenomenon.
3) Political:
The rise in globalization has seen the rise of many non-governmental organization that have huge influence on the affairs of the world politics today. Institutions such as the EU, United nations and the G8 have been viewed as international powers due to their ability to influence the affairs of the entire world. Other key players in the influence of current affairs due to globalization include non other than the media.
