Meaning of:-
1. One shoe will not fit every foot
2. He that goes barefoot must not plant thorns
3. One foot is better than 2 crutches
4. If you keep your mouth shut, You won't put your foot in it
5. Footprints on the sands of time are not made by sitting down

1.When something has all the characteristics of a thing, it is definitely the thing. if a person has such habits that are consistent then they should not object as they have been identified as such. Example - A person acting a fool should not object to wearing a cap on a fool.

2. One must not go bare feet if they throw thorns everywhere. Example-  An English proverb stating that whoever waits for the dead man's shoes always risks of going barefoot.

3. One foot is superior to two crutches. We should be grateful for what we have, even if it is less than we would like. Example - The proverb says better than no bread is the same as Half a loaf.

4. Something to say or do that offends, upsets or embarrasses another. Example - Typically the thing you have said or done gets you into trouble, such as you didnt think carefully before talking or doing so.

5. Footprints on the sands of time are elements by which those who come after us remember us. Example - In a letter, Napoleon wrote that we should endeavor to do something so that we did not live in vain, so that we might leave some mark of ourselves on the sands of time.
