Hi!

This is an idiom.

You can interpet it this way..
Gold has a price tag, but happiness does not.

An ounce of happiness has an immeasureable value, but a pound of gold has a fixed value only, even though it glitters! So, happiness is priceless, whereas one can put a value on a pound of gold.

IshitaP: thanks!!!!!
