Valves regulate floe of blood by opening on one side to let blood flow out in one direction and prevent back flow of blood.
There are 4 valves present in heart
Tricuspid valve → It is present between right artrium and right ventricle. It prevent back flow of blood into right artrium.
Pulmonary Valve → Present between right ventricle and pulmonary artery.
Mitral Valve → Present between left artrium and left ventricle.
Aortic Valve → Present between left ventricle and Aorta

HEART VALVES:There are four HEART valves.All are one_way walves. Blood entering the heart first passes through the tricuspid valves and then the pulmonary valve .After returning from the lungs,the blood passes through the mitral (bicuspid) valve and exists via the aortic valve.
OR
Any of the valves the control blood flow to and from the heart and that include the antrioventricular valve ,the aortic valve and the pulmonary valve
