The meaning of the poem The Frog and The Bird by Vera Hessey is simple. It states that every human being is different on this planet. While some of us are comfortable in taking rest and lazing around, others may not find pleasure in that.
Just like that, the frog is very different from the bird. One is a creature of the land and water whereas the other one dwells in the sky. So, to the bird, the frog's condition is strange and to the frog the bird's position is dangerous. Both of them are well accustomed with their position: the frog on the log, dozing and the bird on the branch.
