An authority held by a group within a society that allows for the administration of public resources and implement policies for society. Power may be acquired as a means of governmental direction or in opposition to a government group.
USAGE EXAMPLES
A person holding the title of the President of the United States holds political power over many national and international decisions made as far as the governmental policies goes.
The more political power you can get the more you can set the rules in the advantage of your company and reap the rewards.
I liked the country, but I did not like the political power structure of it because too much power was given to the heads of the state....
