It means a relationshio b/w the leguminous plants and some bacteria in which both are benifited.

e.g, Pea plant and Rizobium.

plant provides food to the bacteria in return thr Rizobium provide the nitrogen(Nitrites & Nitrates) to plant.In this way both are benifited.
