Meaning of the line - nucleoid or incipient nucleus is composed of naked DNA,RNA and non histone protiens

leiod is present in prokaryote...and in prokaryotes membrane bound organelles are absent...nucleiod is considered to be the nucleus of prokaryotes...and if membrane is absent everything is naked...and yes histone proteins are absent in prokaryotes it is a eukaryotes feature..in the case of prokaryotes polyamines are present which function more or less like histone..
