What is the meaning of unequal complementary angles?
Two angles are said to be unequal complementary angles if their sum is 90° and they are unequal.
For example,
∠AOB = 35° and ∠BOC = 55°.
Here,
∠AOB + ∠BOC
= (35 + 55)°
= 90°
But,
∠AOB ≠ ∠BOC
or, 35° ≠ 55°
So, ∠AOB and ∠BOC are unequal complementary angles.
Complementary angles-
Two angles are said to be complementary angles if their sum is 90°.
Supplementary angles-
Two angles are said to be supplementary angles if their sum is 180°
Unequal supplementary angles-
Two angles are said to be unequal supplementary angles if their sum is 180° and they are unequal.
