Given :

  • The measure of two acute angles of a right angled triangle are y and 2y.

To Find :

  • Find the measure of these two angles.

Solution :

Remember that :

The sum of the angles of a right angled triangle is 180°.

In right angled triangle 1 angle is 90°.

Than,

{\leadsto{\sf{Y + Y2 + 90° = 180°}}}

{\leadsto{\sf{Y3 + 90° = 180°}}}

{\leadsto{\sf{Y3 = 180° - 90°}}}

{\leadsto{\sf{Y3 = 90°}}}

{\leadsto{\sf{Y = {\cancel\frac{90}{3}  }}}}

{\large{\purple{:{\mapsto{\underline{\boxed{30°}}}}}}}

So,

{\red{\twoheadrightarrow{\bf{1st  \: angle = Y = 30°}}}}

{\red{\twoheadrightarrow{\bf{2nd \: angle = 2Y = 2 \times 30° =60° }}}}

Solution :-

We know that :-

Acute Angle » Angle whose measure is less than 90° is called Acute angle.

Right Angle » Angle whose measure is exactly 90 ° is Right Angle.

We know that sum of angles of a is always 180°.

According to question :-

→ Angle A + Angle B + Angle C= 180°

→ y + 2y + Right Angle = 180°

→ 3y + 90° = 180°

→ 3y = (180 - 90)°

→ 3y = 90°

→ y = \frac{90}{3}

→ y =  \cancel \frac{90}{3} = 30°

→ Angle A = y = 30°

→ Angle B = 2y = (2 × 30)° = 60°

Hope it will help you.
