Answer:a transformer (two windings) is a kind of transducer in which current flowing through the primary winding creates a magnetic flux that passing through secondary winding results in current flowing through the load. In a case of open secondary circuit one can observe a voltage corresponding to (V1/V2)=(N1/N2). Unfortunately in real transformers the output voltage and current depend on the load and frequency.
Shortly current in primary winding produces current and voltage in the secondary winding.
