Measures by Muhammad Bin Tughlaq were:
shifting of the capital from Delhi to Devagiri which he later renamed as Daulatabad ,the reason given for the transfer of the capital was to have greater control over the southern region and daulatabad was more centrally located for that than Delhi
another measure by Mohammed Bin Tughlaq was the introduction of token currency as there was a shortage of silver at that time, so he decided to issue copper coins which would have the same value as that of silver and gold coins as gold and silver was more valuable people also started illegal minting of the token coins which the government was unable to control and thus, the government finally decided to take back the token coins and in exchange give silver coins to people thus, they Suffered a heavy financial loss
