Subtracting equation (3) from 180°,

==> Angle ACO= Angle ODB
In ∆ AOC and ∆ BOD,
- Angle COA = Angle BOD (Vertically opposite angles)
- OC=OD (given)
- Angle ACO= Angle ODB (proved)
- Therefore, they are congruent by ASA.
