Mechanism of photoprism explain?

phototropism is shown by plants...due to the production of hormone ..namely..Auxin...Auxin is produced at the tip of the shoot..it is produced at the shaded part of the shoot....that is ..the shady region..due to its huge production the area becomes heavy forcing the shoot to bend toward the sunlight....hope it helps...

Phototropism is the growth of an organism which responds to a light stimulus. It is most often observed in plants, but can also occur in other organisms such as fungi. The cells on the plant that are farthest from the light have a chemical called auxin that reacts when phototropism occurs.
