Mechanism of reflex action

A reflex mechanism involved a receptor organ and effector organ and some type of communication network.

when is sensory receptor is stimulated signal pass from it along a sensory neuron to the spinal cord the message travel out of the spinal cord along a motor neurone to the affected organ example (muscles or gland) which show the response such a pathways called reflex arc in most cases however the basis physiological mechanism behind a reflex action is more complicated than the reflex arc theory ud suggestedadditional nerve cell capable of community with other part of the body beyond the receptor and effector are present in reflex action.
