Answer:

There are three steps involved in urine formation;

1) ULTRA FILTRATION - When the blood comes from afferent arteriole due to more diameter than efferent arteriole pressure is created so it is filtrated due to this pressure. It contains glucose, water ,and ions.

2) SELECTIVE REABSORBTION - when this filtrate comes in the tubles all the reqired substances are reabsorbed again in the DCT, henle's loop, PCT .

3) SECRETION - When this filtrate comes  in the collecting duct , all the toxic substances are released by the collecting duct and finally urine is formed.
