Crimes and violence are increasing day by day in South Africa. So, to deal with the crimes and violence, South African Government has undertaken four pillar mechanism. They are:
1) The process of criminal justice- The goal of it is to make the judicial system highly efficient , so that the criminals gets correct judgement based on their crimes.
It makes sure of the less criminal activity and the criminal getting clear deterrent.
2) Creation of Environmental design to reduce crime- Increases the process of detecting and identifying criminals easily by designing a system that reduces chances of crime.
3) Education and Public values- Provides education to citizen , so that they too can help in crime and violence prevention.
4) Crimes which are Trans-national- Reduces trafficking over the border.
