Sir,
Through your esteemed newspaper I would like to present my views on the pros and cons of media.
The media today is a veritable source of information and also in a sense of crusader in the form of justice. In today's age of information technology almost nothing is hidden. Journalists especially those on TV channels uncovered corruption, lawlessness, and injustice at the highest level of office ensuring a certain degree of accountability. However with 24 hour news channel, the quality of content has been deteriorating. The print media too has lost its magic due to instant television news. Sometimes mountains are created out of molehills too. Thus, one is forced to shift through volumes of information.
It is my sincere hope that the ethical bounds of constructive journalism, reporting and portrayals, will help influencing the national scenario, and create a better nation.
