media is a very powerful medium of communication.why have government laid down laws and codes of conduct? isn't it against freedom of speech expression?comment?

Because these days media is playing a very crucial role in spreading unnecessary rumours and fake news in the country.Sometimes this media usually critices the well authorised organisations just for the sake of external compensations and bribes. Thus the government need to put some laws and restrictions in the working and authenticity of Media.
