Here is your answer :-

 \frac{ \frac{9}{2}  + ( \frac{9}{2}  + 1)}{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{ \frac{9}{2} +  \frac{11}{2}  }{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{ \frac{11 + 9}{2} }{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{ \frac{20}{2} }{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{10}{2}  \\  \\  = 5

kuldeepkunal: I think your second line is wrong because 9 + 1 is 10
Thatsomeone: after making denominator same it will be 2 so 9+ 2 = 11
