here there are two terms so..Lets take the average

=> (x+2) +(x+4) / 2 = 25

2x + 6 = 25(2)

2x + 6 = 50

2x = 50 - 6

2x = 44

x = 44/2 = 22

then x+2 = 22 +2 = 24

x+4 = 22+4 = 26

so whole series is

11, 13,15,19,24,26,30,35,39,46

mean = sum of observations/no.of observations

= 11 + 13 + 15 + 19 + 24 + 26 + 30 +35 + 39 +46 / 10

= 258/10

= 25.8 is the mean..
