 Given \: data : 35,48,29,42,27,31

/* Rearranging the data in ascending order, we get */

 27,29,31,35,42\: and \: 48

 Number \:of \: terms (n) = 6 \: (even )

 Median = Average \: of \: \frac{n}{2} \: and

 \Big( \frac{n}{2} + 1 \Big)^{th} \: terms

 = Average \: of \: \frac{6}{2} \: and

 \Big( \frac{6}{2} + 1 \Big)^{th} \: terms

 = Average \: of \: 3^{rd} \: and \: 4^{th} \:terms

 = \frac{31+35}{2}

 =  \frac{66}{2}

 = 33

Therefore.,

 \red{Median}\green { = 33}
