Explanation:

Why would you study medicine or engineering if you wanted to become an entrepreneur? Unless you have a specific idea that needs research or engineering, I believe you'd be wasting a lot of time and money. Even if you did have a unique idea, an entrepreneur would find a way to hire the best in that field to produce his idea.

Medicine is an extremely specialized field where you help people through a knowledge of the body.

Engineering is also a specialized field where you help people by developing or improving upon a device.

Being an entrepreneur is an extremely diverse field where you find something that can help people, and then spread it to the masses where you can make a profit.

Going to school for business is great if you want to become an employee at a large corporation. The new entrepreneur millionaires are doing web stuff...affiliate marketing, e-commerce, infopreneuring... You can't learn that stuff in college. By the time a class is developed for a university, the algorithms on the net have changed. Do some online study and take some online classes. Decide what kind of an entrepreneur you want to be. A bank doesn't care about your education or your grades if you want to get a loan to build or rehab an apartment building...only the financials. There is a whole world out there that doesn't revolve around a college degree. Often times, the best entrepreneurs are not the smartest guys in the room, they are the one's with the most guts and a relentless desire to succeed. I'm not saying don't go to college, education is something that can never be taken away from you. I'm just suggesting you take a hard look at what kind of entrepreneurship you want to pursue, then do everything you can to educate yourself in that specific area.

I highly recommend the book called "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. It's an unbelievable look at the millionaire mindset and how to think like the rich. It changed my life! He has an entire series with a ton of great business advice in an easy to read format. I've got my boys reading and learning those things now.

Please let me know what avenue you decide to take...I am very interested to hear of your future success!
