Answer:

each box = 4kg 500g ( 1kg = 1000g)

= 4500g

van capacity = 800kg

= 800000 g

boxes can be loaded in van

=> 800000 ÷ 4500 = 177 ( 3kg 500 g remaining)

as van cannot carry beyond 800 kg

Ans. 117 boxes can be loded in a van.

Answer:

177 boxes can only be loaded in the van.

Step-by-step explanation:

Weight of one box = 4 kg 500 g = 4 x 1000 + 500 = 4500 g

and 800 kg = 800 x 1000 = 800000 g

To find the required no. Of boxes we can divide 800000 by 4500

= 800000 / 4500

=177

Therefore, 177 boxes can only be loaded in the van.
