Given:-

Medicine is packed in boxes each waiting 4 kg 500 grams how many such boxes can be loaded in a van that can only carry on 1000 kg.

To Find:-

We Should have to find this answer by using Multiplication and Cancellation.

  • 1 Kg = 1000 Grams.
  • 1 Gram = 0.001 Kilograms.

Solution:-

The Weight of 1 box = 4kg 500 grams.

Total Boxes will be loaded to the van in 1000kg.

\Large\ ⇒ 4 × 100g + 500g = 4500g.

Maximum Weight will be load to Van = 1000 Kg.

\Large\ ⇒ = 1000 × 1000g = 1000000 g.

Number of Boxes = Total Weight / Weight of Each Box.

Number of boxes = \Large\ \frac{1000000}{4500} = 222.

∴ Therefore the Answer is 222.
