medicine is packed in boxes ,each weighing 4kg 500g .how many such boxes can be loaded in a van which cannot carry beyond 800kg?

Solution :

Weight of a box = 4kg 500g

= 4 × 1000 + 5004×1000 + 500 = 4,500g

Weight that can be loaded in van = 800kg

= 800 × 1,000 = 8,00,000g = 800×1,000 = 8,00,000g

No. of boxes that can be loaded =

8,00,000 ÷ 4,500 = 1778,00,000 ÷ 4,500 = 177

Therefore,

177 boxes can be loaded in the van
